Wonders Of Modern Science

We live in an age of modern science. Our life is entangled with the invention of science. The entire world has changed its costume with the help of modern science .I think modern civilization is the gift of modern science. With passage of time modern science is giving us newer wonders. Electricity is the key one of these wonders. It is electricity on which other inventions are based .The other invention are telephone, Internet, computer, x -ray, satellite, nuclear energy, space travel etc .We can not but Surprise with these invention. Telephone and mobile has brought a heavenly change in the communication. Now we are not worry to know about our relatives staying abroad. We can contact them whenever we like. Another great wonder of   Radio. It is an instrument by which we hear the sound from any part of the world .Another of the greatest wonders of modern science is Television. It satisfies us trough vision and hearing. We now are able to see the vision of the farthest corner of the world in our own eyes. This is why it has been termed the best medium of communication. Its possibilities are immense and its uses are unending too. Computer, the latest and mot wonderful invention of modern science is contributing a lot to change the feature of the entire world. Now, the toughest tasks have been possible to do with the help of computer. Almost all sectors have received the blessed touch of computer. Nuclear energy is another greatest wonders of modern science. It has made possible the manufacture of the atom-bomb, the hydrogen bomb and the missiles. It should be utilized for peaceful and constructive purpose. Now has conquered and other. We could not imagine about space travel without the help of modern science. Men are subsiding their inquisition with miraculous information, traveling space, scientist now consider that the colonilisation   on the moon and some other planets is not far of thing. Apart from these there are other wonders of science such of penicillin, x-ray, ultraviolet ray etc. Now we can not do even a day without the help of science. We should use the invention of science for the welfare of the people.

THE LIBERATION WAR OF BANGLADESH

Freedom is a desirable thing to everybody. Bangladesh emerged as a free state only forty years ago. Before it came into being as a free country, it was a wing of Pakistan named East Pakistan. As an independent nation, Bangladesh is a glorious achievement for us. It is a story or rather a history of a glorious achievement. We had to fight serious for our independence. The nine months’ life and death struggle for liberation is popularly known as Liberation War. The main cause for which the nation went to war against Pakistan was the refusal of the Pakistan rulers to acknowledge the electoral triumph of the Awami League on December, 1970. The people of Bangladesh could understand the conspiracy of the Pakistani rulers. On March 25, 1971 the Pakistani military started taking under-aggressive measures against the people of East Pakistan. In the name of ‘Operation Search Light’ a destructive and unexpected killing mission was conducted of the people of this wing. At that time Bangabondhu Sheihk mujibur rohman was arrested and taken to Pakistan .On march, 26-1971 mazor  ziaur rohman announced the independence of  Bangladesh on behalf of sheikh mujibur rohman from kalurgat radio station in chittagong . In mid April ,the Bengali  politician moved to consolidate the struggle. Provisional government was formed which motivated the war to a large extent. Its headquarters was at place named mujib nagar at meherpur . The war continued then with a great speed. People of a spheres took part in this war. The freedom fighters were determined that they would make the country free from the subjugation and tyranny of Pakistani ruler. During the war the country was divided into eleven sectors. It made the operation of the war easier and effective. The rest of liberation war has been written in the letters of gold in the history of Bangladesh. By late November, it was evident that Bangladesh was going to be emerged soon as a free country. On December 16-1971,Bangladesh became independent free country. On December 16-1971,Bangladesh became independent at the cost of 30 lac  lives . Our liberation is a great asset to us. But it is matter of sorrow that the common people are not enjoying the benefits of independence .So it is our duty to ensure for everyone ass to get the benefits of independence.

The computer

Computer is the most wonderful invention of modern science.It is a machine which is called the substituting of  human  brain.Computer was not invented overnight.charles babez, A british profesor of mathematics first thought about a formula which could help  human  brain.He could not invent computer but he initiated the research leading to the invention of computer.Finally Mr. haward akin,an  american  scientist invented such a machine in 1937 that could do difficult sums.After seven year electric computer was used in harvard university in 1944.    After that many types of computer have been invented.A computer has five major components.They are the input unit,the output unit,the memory unit,the control unit and the arithmetic unit.The first two units consist of  the device that permit a computer to receive  or exhibit.A computer does three functions. It receive data,produces data by various computation and emits data.These functions are accomplished by giving the computer a programm consisting of a sequence of statements.Computer has a great use to us.It has mad our life easy and comfortable.It has lessened our work loads.It has been largely used in the govt.Office,medical science,printing, battlefields educational institutions,agricultural,industrial,and commercial sectors.nowadays it is conquring the space,translating from one language to another language,playing chess and what not.No wonder that the day will come when computer will do every brain work.Computer has some demerits too.It causes diseases like respitutive stress injury.It may defects the eye-sight of the operator if he sits for a long time before its screen.It may be misguided if  VIRUS attacks it.In bangladesh  computer is very popular.Our young generation is talking computer training institutions.Many government and non-government office and educational institutions are using computer widely.Computer is really a blessing to us.We can`t imagine our modern life without computer.We wish computer should be used for human welfare but not destruction.
